HARRIS IS OFFICIALLY O U T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The vote is in and Harris did not even come close to being elected back into office even though nearly every ballot that had his name on it had 4 votes for him. This means that only about 20 people voted for him. Not only that, the other two candidates who were inexplicably supporting him went down in flames. Judy Hyneman, who never understood her duty to the HOA and made wild and outrageous, unsubstantiated allegations against this board got, like 3 votes and the other guy Spitafora (or whatever it is), got like 1 vote. OUCH.
CAN YOU SPELL L-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-S-E-R-S??!!
Now we don't want to gloat..........................but heck, we can't help ourselves. The wicked witch is dead!
Life is good. There is a god.....and he likes us.......alot.
We'll gloat more later......now it's time to CELEBRATE!! We'll announce the details of the celebration to be held late one night soon at our beautiful Beach & Swim Club.

As many of you know, the last few years have been rather interesting during the Menifee Lakes Master Association, Board of Directors election season, to say the least. Well, it's the political season again in Menifee Lakes!
LET THE FUN BEGIN!!!
The elections have been "interesting" because the 2006 Board of Directors decided to terminate the Lake/Beach & Swim Club management contract of Don Harris in July, 2006.
Once terminated, Harris went on a "rampage" that began with leading a group that attempted to recall the Board of Directors that fired him. This recall "petition" was signed by only 2 (yes, that's two) members of the HOA, but went forward anyway as the Management Company at the time (since fired), and the lawfirm at the time (since fired), allowed it to go forward -- even though the law is clear in that a recall of the Board requires the signatures of 5% of the members (they had only two!).
He also sued the Association and several Directors. The Association and all but one Director have been dismissed from the case. In addition he sued two residents of Menifee Lakes, a Riverside County Sheriff's Deputy, the Sheriff himself and Riverside County! Most of these cases have been dismissed.
But the story doesn't end there and frankly, remains unfinished. There have been many other events and incidents involving Harris, that have the cost the HOA tons of time and money. Yet, he is running for re-election to the Board!!! Why you may ask? Uhhhh, we don't know.
There is still lots going on and we'll use these pages to keep you up-to-date. The upcoming Directors election is once again extremely important as there is very small faction within the community that, if their candidates are elected to the Board, will have a devastating effect on our community, including possibly raising our dues and attempting to re-hire Harris. That's all bad.
